Nutrition Facts / Portion Sizes

Now that you know your BMI, let’s continue with the Nutrition Facts label.

This one.

The serving size on the nutrition facts label is for informational purposes only. It is not necessarily a recommendation of what an individual should be eating.

An individual’s portion is what they choose to serve and this may be more or less than the serving size listed on the nutrition facts label.

Portion Size will also depend on several factors such as an individual’s calorie needs or activity level, as well as the type of meal being consumed (breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a snack).
